Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR WRITING ARTICLES

  1. The article is an independent thought and has never been published or is being considered for publication in another journal.
  2. CONTAINS THE RESULTS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SERVICE ACTIVITIES
  3. TITLE
  • Number of Words (15-25)
  • Gives a careful description of the content of the article
  • Explains the subject of service concisely
  • Avoid abbreviations, formulas, and jargon
  • Usually does not contain verbs and abbreviations
  • Easy to understand
  1. NAME OF THE AUTHOR
  • Complete for easy identification
  • No need for academic titles
  • Include the name of the actual author
  • The editor may request confirmation from all authors
  1. ABSTRACT
  • Short (± 200 words) one paragraph only
  • Articles are accompanied by an abstract in Indonesian or English.
  • Elements must be complete consisting of the purpose of the service, scope, concise methods, main results including new facts, main conclusions, and their significance
  • Contains all keywords that will be indexed
  • The abstract does not include illustrative tables, references, abbreviations and acronyms
  • Does not contain information or conclusions that are not in the manuscript
  1. INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
  • Contains a description of the problem or reason for the dedication
  • Length no more than two typewritten pages
  • Refers to literature that is the basis or reason for dedication
  • Expected results
  1. METHODOLOGY OF IMPLEMENTATION                                                                                                                                  The method must explain the stages of service in detail and clearly, including the method and design of service as well as the instrument or measuring tool used. Especially for theoretical study articles in this section contains subtitles (the number of subtitles is adjusted to the needs)
  1. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
  • No repetition of data
  • Data is directly related to the purpose of the service
  • Unnecessary images should not be displayed
  • Ensure that the author has:
  • Address each of the service objectives to be achieved
  • The discussion is sequenced according to the order in the objectives
  • All matters discussed have been explained first
  • Avoid unnecessary detail or repetition of previous sections
  • Interpret the results and suggest implications for future work.
  • Argumentation should logically relate to the opinion or results of the service between the results of the service both theoretical and applied
  • The author's opinion is packaged in good paragraphs
  1. CONCLUSION
  • Conclusions are written critically, carefully, logically and honestly based on the facts obtained
  • Make generalizations
  1. SUGGESTIONS
  • Suggestions related to the implementation or results of the service
  • Suggestions should not seem far-fetched
  1. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
  • Acknowledgment of gratitude is conveyed to the party who deserves the acknowledgment
  • To the institution or person who really helped the service
  • To the giver of funds, facilities, materials, or advice
  1. OVERVIEW
  • In accordance with journal rules
  • Note the abbreviation for the journal name: Phys. (=Physics), Biol (=Biology)
  • The number of references does not need to be large, and the most important thing is the quality of the reference library (primary, up-to-date, relevant)
  • Write the name in full (first name and last name) in the bibliography
  • Name of publisher and one city: New York: Academic Press
