DESAIN DAN ANALISIS KEKUATAN RANGKA LEMARI PERKAKAS DI BALAI LAPAN GARUT MENGGUNAKAN METODE ELEMEN HINGGA
Abstract
This study examined the design and strength analysis of tool cabinet frame using the finite element method. Tool cabinet was designed five levels with sizes of 800 mm (length), 400 mm (width), and 1750 mm (height). The analysis was carried out using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017 software. The frame material used was Aluminum alloy 3003-H12 with DIN EN 10056-1 (Equal angles) standards with a size of 25 x 25 x 3 mm. Load variables for each tool cabinet level were 45 kg, 50 kg, 55 kg and 60 kg. The simulation results show that the tool cabinets for each level weighing 45 kg, 50 kg, 55 kg, and 60 kg have safety factors of 2.49, 2.24, 2.04 and 1.87.
