PENGARUH VARIABEL SHAKING TABLE TERHADAP KADAR DAN RECOVERY Sn SISA HASIL PENCUCIAN DI UNIT METALURGI PT TIMAH TBK MUNTOK KABUPATEN BANGKA BARAT

Abstract

The mineral processing field, here in after abbreviated as BPM, is a place for the separation of lead mineralswith other minerals. The remainder of the washing result wich is abbreviated as SHP still contains high level, that is ± 20% Sn,the level is still relatively high that mean the materials need to re-do theseparation process in order to minimize the wasting of tin ore. One of the tool used in SHP material separation mechanism in BPM is shaking table type slime table. This tool is used to process materials that can not be processed in the previous tool that is jig harz and secondary jig yuba, becouase the fine grain size causes a lot of waste materials. Method of data retrieval is done by doing some variation of variable arrangement of shaking table like table slope with 3 time experiment about 0.939°, 1.254°, 1.878° and stroke length about 17 mm, 19 mm and 22 mm. The results of the shaking table process increased from the level before processing is 8-10% Sn after being processed at shaking table in BPM has increased by 10-20%. Optimization of Sn recovery on the appropriate shaking table for slime table type is: table slope 0.939° with 35.50% Sn and recovery 58.30% and stroke length 17 mm with 30.30% Sn and recovery 44.74%.
