Mangrove rehabilitation carried out in Tuik Village is one of the factors preventing abrasion and improving the economy of coastal communities. This study aims to determine the survival rate of mangroves and the relationship parameters in the success of mangrove rehabilitation. This research was carried out in May-July 2022 in the mangrove rehabilitation area of Tuik Village, Kelapa District, West Bangka Regency. The method used in this study uses a transect line measuring 10m x 10m. Station point determination is divided into five stations using techniquespurposive sampling. The data collected is the number of plants, height, and number of leaves in the transect line. Data is processed and analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of tables, graphs and descriptions. The main component analysis used in data processing is the method (PCA)Principal Component Analysis. The results of research conducted in Tuik Village found two species namelySonneratia andAvicennia, the value ofsurvival rate mangroves with an average range of 10.2 - 10.7%. High growth rate of the speciesSonneratia alba ranges from 0.5 - 1.5 cm, while the growth rate of the species is highAvicennia alba around 1.5 - 1.7 cm. The leaf growth rate of each species is 1 - 2 leaves/month.Survival rate andgrowth rate positively correlated with temperature, current, and sand fraction. The results of the substrate analysis indicated that the speciesSonneratia alba andAvicennia alba shelter on sandy substrate conditions. This shows that the species is able to grow in all types of substrates and has a high tolerance to environmental conditions.
Ahsanul Ihsan, Sudirman Adibrata, Athur Muhammad Farhaby ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ubb.ac.id/akuatik/article/view/4282 Wed, 13 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Analisis Kelimpahan dan Pola Pertumbuhan Kepiting Bakau di Sungai Selindung, Kota Pangkal Pinang, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung https://journal.ubb.ac.id/akuatik/article/view/4336
Mud crab is one of the important fishery commodities in Indonesia since the 1980s. Mud crabs have high economic value and are closely related to the mangrove ecosystem area so many people want to hunt them for sale. This study is conducted to determine the abundance and growth patterns of mud crabs in the Selindung River, Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands. Sampling is carried out from February to March 2023 at Selindung river using folding traps. Mud crab sampling is carried out every 2 weeks starting from the lowering of the trap at 18.00 WIB until the removal of the trap at 07.00 WIB. The mangrove crabs found were counted for the number of individuals, measured for carapace width, body weight and sex, then analyzed. Measurement of physico-chemical parameters of waters including temperature, pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen (DO). The results of the study concluded that there were 2 types of mangrove crabs found in the Selindung River, Pangkalpinang City, namely the type of S. serrata and the type of S. tranquebarica. The abundance of mangrove crabs in the Selindung River, Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands, is the highest for the type S. tranquebarica of 82.97%. The growth pattern of mud crabs in Selindung River, Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands is negative allometric. The condition factor of mangrove crabs at each station morphologically has a fit body condition. Parameters that have a positive correlation with the abundance of mud crabs are pH, DO, and substrate.
Christin Claudia Tambunan, Okto Supratman, Kurniawan Salim ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://journal.ubb.ac.id/akuatik/article/view/4336 Wed, 13 Sep 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Identifikasi Dan Kelimpahan Jenis Kepiting Bakau (Scylla sp) Di Sungai Antan Desa Telak Kabupaten Bangka Barat https://journal.ubb.ac.id/akuatik/article/view/4344
Telak Village is an area with a large area of mangrove forest, with flora and fauna biodiversity in it. One type of crustacean that has high economic value is mangrove crab. This study aims to identify the types of mud crabs, analyze the abundance of mud crab species and analyze the relationship between the abundance of mud crab species and environmental parameters. This research was conducted in July – August 2022 at Sungai Antan, Telak Village. The research method used is purposive sampling method. Data collection is divided into 3 stations, where each station has 1 line transect with a length of 100 meters with an interval of 20 meters between plots (folding trap). The results of the study obtained 2 species of mud crabs namely Scylla tranquebarica and Scylla serrata. The highest abundance of mud crabs of Scylla serrata was at station 1, namely 0.07 individuals/m² and the highest abundance of mud crabs of Scylla tranquebarica was at station 2, namely 0.22 individuals/m². this indicates, there is ecological pressure in an ecosystem which results in few mud crabs being found. The sex of mud crabs that were mostly found were male mud crabs totaling 36 individuals and female mangrove crabs totaling 25 individuals with a total of 61 individuals. The abundance of mud crabs Scylla serrata is closely related to the dust fraction, while the abundance of mud crabs Scylla tranquebarica is closely related to salinity.
Rafzan Miftaza Fahzeri, Fika Dewi Pratiwi, Andi Gustomi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ubb.ac.id/akuatik/article/view/4344 Wed, 13 Sep 2023 02:18:11 +0000 Mangrove Estimation of Carbon Stocks in Mangrove Stands in Sukamandi Village East Belitung Regency https://journal.ubb.ac.id/akuatik/article/view/4043
Sukamandi is a village located in East Belitung Regency which has a mangrove ecosystem area of 351.33 ha. Mangrove ecosystems play an important role in carbon sequestration as one of the blue carbon concepts. This study aims to analyze the type and density of mangroves and to analyze the value of aboveground biomass and the value of carbon stock in mangrove stands in Sukamandi Village, East Belitung Regency. This research was conducted in January-February 2023 in the Mangrove Forest of Sukamandi Village, East Belitung. Analysis of the value of biomass and carbon stock was carried out based on SNI 7724 of 2011. The results of the research that had been carried out were 5 mangrove tribes consisting of 10 species with the highest density of mangrove vegetation types at station III, which was 4,841 ind/ha and the lowest at station IV, namely 1,943 ind/ha with Very Dense criteria. The average value of standing mangrove biomass is 509.34 tons/ha, the average value of carbon stock in mangrove stands is 239.39 tons/ha.

Keywords: Mangrove Stand, Biomass, Carbon Stock, Sukamandi Village
Sapriyadi Sapriyadi, Arthur M.
