Mangrove forest is a tropical coastal vegetation community consisting of several species that are able to grow and develop in muddy coastal tidal areas. Mangrove ecosystems have many benefits for the waters and for marine life, one of which is fish. The mangrove ecosystem is a nursery ground for various types of fish. Through a hydro-biological mechanism, fish larvae born in offshore areas will go to the nursery habitat area which then their success will affect recruitment. This research was conducted in April 2020 in Tanjung Tedung Hamlet, Sungaiselan District, Central Bangka Regency. The data collected consisted of community structure and fish abundance, mangrove species density, and water physicochemical parameters. From the results of the analysis of the structure of the fish community in Tanjung Tedung Hamlet, Sungaiselan District, Central Bangka Regency in the medium and stable category, no one dominates, the highest density is at station 3 with Sonneratia alba species with a density value of 144 ind/Ha and the highest density value of Rhizopora apicullata is found at station 1 with a value of 67 ind/ha. Correlation coefficient analysis shows that the abundance of fish with mangrove density has a significant value of 0.656 which is classified as having a strong relationship. Fish have a higher abundance in the mangrove ecosystem
