Ikan wader pari (Rasbora argyrotaenia) merupakan ikan air tawar yang memiliki potensi ekonomis tinggi namun belum dibudidayakan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji teknik pembenihan ikan wader pari di Balai Budidaya Ikan Air Tawar Muntilan, Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dari 1 Juli hingga 1 Agustus 2024 dengan metode partisipatif melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan teknik pembenihan meliputi persiapan wadah menggunakan bak fiber bundar dan kotak, seleksi induk dengan kriteria bobot rata-rata 6 gram (betina) dan 4 gram (jantan), pemijahan alami dengan rasio jantan:betina 1:2, dan penetasan telur berlangsung selama 14 jam pada suhu 28,3°C. Pemeliharaan larva dilakukan dengan pemberian pakan bertahap mulai kuning telur, infusoria, hingga cacing sutra. Parameter reproduksi yang diperoleh meliputi fekunditas 9.090 butir, tingkat fertilisasi 94,3%, tingkat penetasan 88,4%, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 0,48 cm, dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 10,8%. Kendala utama adalah kepadatan tinggi dan keterbatasan pakan pada fase larva.
Wader pari (Rasbora argyrotaenia) is a freshwater fish that has high economic potential but has not been cultivated optimally. This study aims to assess the hatchery technique of stingray wader at the Muntilan Freshwater Fish Cultivation Center, Central Java. Activities were carried out from July 1 to August 1, 2024 using participatory methods through direct observation and interviews. The results showed that the hatchery technique included container preparation using round fiber tanks and boxes, selection of broodstock with an average weight criterion of 6 grams (females) and 4 grams (males), natural spawning with a male:female ratio of 1:2, and egg hatching lasting 14 hours at a temperature of 28.3°C. Larval rearing was done by gradual feeding from egg yolk, infusoria, to silk worms. Reproductive parameters obtained included fecundity of 9,090 grains, fertilization rate of 94.3%, hatching rate of 88.4%, absolute length growth of 0.48 cm, and survival rate of 10.8%. The main constraints were high density and limited feed in the larval phase.
