Abstract

This study aims to analyze growth patterns, condition factors, sex ratio of Baung Fish (Mystus nemurus) and environmental parameters of Upang River, Tanah Bawah, Bangka Regency. The time and place of this research was carried out from December 2019 to February 2020 in the waters of the Upang River, Tanah Bawah Village. The sampling point was determined by purposive sampling method which was divided into 3 research stations. Baung fish sample data collection was carried out using gill nets with mesh sizes ¾ inch, 1 inch, 1 ½ inch, 1 ¼ inch, 1 ¾ inch, and 2 inch. The results of the growth parameters of Baung Fish (Mystus nemurus) are L∞ = 217.35 with a K value of 0.330 and t0 of -0.287. The relationship between length and weight obtained the growth pattern of male Baung Fish is negative allometric and female is allometric positive. The results of the analysis of the condition factor for male Baung fish were 0.678 and females were 1.798. Based on the results of the calculation of the sex ratio of Baung Fish, there were 37 males and 16 females with a ratio of 1: 1.31. The results of the analysis of temperature parameters ranged from 28-31 0C, pH ranged from 4-5, brightness ranged from 32.18-91.35%, depth ranged from 4.37-6.64 m, current velocity ranged from 0.04-0.08 m / s, dissolved oxygen (DO) ranging from 3.07-644 mg / L shows that it still meets the standards for the survival of the Baung Fish (Mystus nemurus) organisme.
