Abstract

It is feared that catching Lais fish that is carried out by the community countinously can disrupt the sustainability of Lais Fish, therefore it is necessary to do domesticationefforts, but before that is neccesary to do several studies including studies on fish eating habits. This research was conducted in April 2021, fish samples were obtained from fishermen in the Pakil River, the method used in data collection was the survey sampling method and the data analysis used the index of proponderence (IP) method, the relationship between lenght and weight, relative itestinal length. The results of the study showed that the main food type of Lais Fish was insects with an IP value of 59.67% which means that insects are the main food of Lais Fish, the lowest IP value is phytoplankton with the genus Anchanantidium with an IP value of 0.08%, Relative lenght of Lais Fish intestines ie 0.97 cm or < 1 which means that Lais Fish belong to the carnivorous fish group, the growth type ofais Fish in Pakil River is negative allometric which means the value of b < 3 with the value obtained b = 2.1337. Based on the calculation pf the frequency of occurrence, IP, and relative intestinal length, it can be concluded that the Lais Fish belongs to the Canivorous group.
