Kajian Kesesuaian dan Daya Dukung Kawasan Wisata dalam Kategori (River Track) Berperahu di Sungai Upang Desa Tanah Bawah Kabupaten Bangka

Abstract

The Upang River is not like natural tourism in general, where the river is unique because it combines the concept of tourism with Biodiversity Conservation. The Upang River is used as a tourist spot because it has beautiful natural panoramas and is still beautiful. This research aims to determine the suitability and carrying capacity of tourist areas in the boating (River track) category on the Upang River. This research took place in October 2021 in the Upang River. The method used to determine station points is the field survey method and purposive sampling method. Environmental parameters to determine the suitability and carrying capacity of the boating category tourist area (River track) on the Upang River include water brightness, river depth, current speed, vegetation cover on the river bank, smell, dangerous biota and scenery. The results obtained in the Upang River tourism suitability index for the river track category for boating are station 1 with an IKW value of 1.7, station 2 with an IKW value of 1.4, station 3 with an IKW value of 1.25, station 4 with an IKW value of 1. .2, station 5 has an IKW value of 1.3, station 6 has an IKW value of 1.4, station 7 has an IKW value of 1.25, station 8 has an IKW value of 1.4, station 9 has an IKW value of 1.3 and station 10 has an IKW value of 1, 4. The carrying capacity of the category area (River track) in the Upang River is 108 people/day.
