Analysis of Fish Consumption Level in Payung Subdistrict South Bangka Regency

Fish consumption is increasing from year to year in Indonesia. Fish consumption in Indonesia amounted to 55.37 kg per capita in 2021. That number increased by 1.48% compared to 2020 which amounted to 54.56 kg/capita. This study aims to analyze the level of fish consumption and the factors that influence the level of fish consumption in the community in Payung District, South Bangka Regency. This research was conducted in June and July of 2023. The sampling technique used is the sample random sampling method. Respondents were taken randomly as many as 56 respondents who were one of the families of the selected households. The criteria for respondents aged 17 to 50 years and understand the contents of the research questionnaire. Data analysis methods used quantitative descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research on the level of fish consumption in the community in Payung District, South Bangka Regency, namely Payung Village 32 kg / cap / year, Sengir Village 25 kg / cap / year, Irat Village 32 kg / cap / year and Bedengung Village 20 kg / cap / year. The results showed that the type of fish that is often consumed in Payung Sub-district shows 9.92% in catfish (Pengasius sp). Factors that influence the level of fish consumption in the community in Payung Sub-district are income, price and number of family members
