PENYULUHAN HUKUM TENTANG URGENSI PEMAHAMAN DAN PENCEGAHAN KEKERASAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA DI DESA LAMBANGSARI KECAMATAN TAMBUN SELATAN-KABUPATEN BEKASI

Abstract

The family is the smallest organization in the social, national and state life. The family should reflect comfort to deliver peace. However, each family experiences certain problems that can interfere with harmony. Tension or conflict between the husband and wife, parents and children is a natural thing in a family or household. What is different is how to deal with and resolve it.

Since the enactment of the Law on Domestic Violence in 2004, there has been much violence occurring in the home, especially in remote and rural areas, so there is a need for socialization and understanding of Domestic Violence and its impact as well as prevention and law enforcement. For this reason, the University of Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya academic community consisting of lecturers needs to provide counseling.

The purpose of this counseling is to explain and socialize the legal rules governing Domestic Violence (Law No. 23 of 2004 concerning Eliminating Domestic Violence) and provide understanding and foster public awareness of the importance of understanding acts of Violence in Households as well to fulfill one of the Tri Darma. The method of implementation starts from the preparation, implementation of extension activities, and evaluation of the results of the extension to the stage of making the report. This counseling was conducted in Lambang Sari Village, South Tambun District, Bekasi Regency.
