Abstract

The establishment of BUMDes is based on the needs and potential of the village, as an effort to improve community welfare. BUMDes is built on community initiatives based on cooperative, participatory, transparency, emancipative, inclusive, accountable, and sustainable principles with member-based and self-help mechanisms. One of the objectives of this BUMDes Training is that participants are able to understand and the regulations and governance of BUMDes in accordance with the BUMDes law are expected to stimulate and move the wheels of the village economy. Community service activities were carried out at BUMDESma Mitra Lada Bersatu from May to October 2019. Training and counseling activities on financial management and marketing management at BUMDESma Mitra Lada Bersatu were carried out well, even the participants looked enthusiastic and hoped that the counseling activities could continue with the provision of other materials, especially related to the management of newly started businesses including product design and the manufacture of pepper derivative products themselves. The BUMDESma management also hopes that there will be sustainable activities so that they can further increase the knowledge/capacity of the BUMDESma management.
