Adaptasi Kebiasaa Baru (New Normal) Bagi Nelayan Di PPN Sungailiat Kabupaten Bangka

Abstract

Since January 2020, WHO has declared the world into a global emergency related to the Covid-19 virus. Specifically in Indonesia, the government has issued a disaster emergency status from February 29, 2020 to May 29, 2020 related to this virus pandemic with a total time of 91 days. Entering the beginning of June 2020, the government issued regulations to enter the New Normal or New Habit Adaptation stage for the community by following various health protocols. The implementation of New Habit Adaptation has begun to be socialized by the government both through television media, social media, and information centers to various institutions and direct socialization to local governments to continue implementing New Habit Adaptation in various circles and environments. This is what makes us take part in socializing the Adaptation of New Habits, especially for fishermen in Sungailiat VAT, Bangka Regency. This implementation activity is divided into 2 main activities, namely: Increasing fishermen's understanding of New Normal Adaptation at PPN Sungailiat, Bangka Regency by distributing posters and explaining them to fishermen, but the implementation was carried out by following the physical distancing protocol without holding any gatherings; and Distribution of masks and vitamins for fishermen in order to increase the peace and health of fishermen. Socialization of New Normal Adaptation to fishermen including; ensuring that the crew is free from Covid-19, always wearing masks during activities, washing hands with soap, using their own eating utensils when going to sea, eating nutritious and balanced meals and getting used to hygienic life, diligent exercise, adequate rest and taking vitamins.
