Abstract

Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPP) Muara Sungai Baturusa Pangkalpinang City is a fishing port in Pangkalpinang. PPP
Muara Sungai Baturusa Pangkalpinang City Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the types of fish landed at
PPP Muara Sungai Batu Rusa, classify the fishing gear used by fishermen and determine the conservation status of the
types of fish landed. Data collection was carried out for 2 months at PPP Muara Sungai Batu Rusa. The research method
is Survey Method and Observation Method. Based on the results of the research, there are 29 species of fish consisting
of 19 families, namely Carangidae, Clupeidae, Sphyraenidae, Chirocentridae, Scombridae, Caesionidae, Scombridae,
Lutjanidae, Serranidae, Carangidae, Ariidae, Haemulidae, Balistidae, Nemipteridae, Rhinidae and Hemiscylliidae.
Based on data available at the Muara Sungai Batu Rusa Beach Fishing Port, the dominant types of fish caught by
fishermen are Mayung Fish, Jebung Fish, Krisi Fish, Ciu Fish, Big Eye Ciu Fish, Singkur Fish, Sand Rays and Barong
Sharks. The types of fish obtained can be grouped into three, namely, small pelagic fish, large pelagic fish and demersal
fish. The classification of fishing gear used by fishermen at the Muara Sungai Batu Rusa Coastal Fishing Port consists
of four, namely Drifting Human Nets, Circle Nets, Payang, Hand Fishing. Conservation Status of fish species landed at
the Muara Sungai Batu Rusa Coastal Fishing Port based on IUCN, there are five criteria, including 20 fish species
classified as Least Concern (LC), two fish species classified as Near Threatened (NT), one species classified as Data
Deficient (DD), four species classified as Not Evaluated (NE), two fish species classified as Endangered (EN), and one
species classified as Critically Endangered (CR). Meanwhile, based on CITES, there is one fish species classified as
Appendix II and also species that have not been recorded in CITES.
