Riding Panjang Village, Bangka Regency, which is famous for its important mangrove ecosystem as a habitat for various
marine life, including mangrove crabs (Scylla sp.). Mangrove crabs have high economic value and are highly dependent
on mangrove ecosystems whose conditions are very dynamic. In 2020, the mangrove area in the village was rehabilitated
due to damage from uncontrolled mining activities. This study aims to examine the abundance of mangrove crabs in
mangrove rehabilitation areas and the relationship between the abundance of mangrove crabs and environmental
parameters. The method used in this study uses the purposive sampling method. The results of the study found two species
of mangrove crabs found, namely Scylla serrata and Scylla paramamosain The highest abundance of mangrove crabs
was found at Station 2 of 300 ind/ha and the highest relative abundance value was in the Scylla serrata species of
88.9%. The growth pattern of mangrove crabs at the three stations was negative allometric with a value of b < 3. The
analysis of the main components (PCA) showed that there were environmental factors that affected the abundance of
mangrove crabs, namely mangrove density, salinity, pH, DO, temperature, and substrate.
