Analisis Kesesuaian Wisata Bahari Di Pulau Semujur Kabupaten Bangka Tengah

Abstract

The study of marine tourism locations in the Semujur Island area is a problem that needs to be studied in order to increase the satisfaction and safety of the people who carry out tourism activities. Semujur Island is a marine conservation area that is protected and managed to realize sustainable management of fish resources and the environment.This study aims to analyze the suitability index of beach recreation tourism and analyze the suitability index of snorkeling tourism on Semujur Island and is expected to be used as a reference for stakeholders involved in tourism development on Semujur Island, Central Bangka Regency. Sampling was carried out in March 2021 at Semujur Beach, Central Bangka Regency. The research method used is purposive sampling. Data analysis was based on the tourism suitability index (IKW) matrix. The results of the study of the suitability of beach recreation tourism and snorkeling tourism on Semujur Island showed that the index value of the suitability of beach recreation tourism at each observation station got a value of 83% (very suitable). The value of the suitability index for snorkeling tourism at each observation station is 57.75% (appropriate).
