ANALISIS MODEL ELEMEN HINGGA PERKUATAN LERENG MENGGUNAKAN SOIL NAILING (STUDI KASUS : LERENG DAERAH LAHAT, SUMATERA SELATAN)

Abstract

To face soil landslide cases, there are many methods can be used as solutions, namely changing the slope geometry, reinforcing the slope using retaining wall, vegetating, and others. One of common used solution is soil nailing. The slope reinforcement utilizing soil nailing is application of reinforced concreted pile installed to the soil. Soil and reinforced concrete is expected to interact and make a strong structure, similar to the principle of strengthening of embankment using geosynthetic. As the advancement of computational method, to calculate the potential sliding of slope can be used a computer program with finite element method concept. To modeling reinforcement of soil nailing  is still not available at common finite element program, therefore it have to be approached by changing the material parameter have similar actual behavior. Nowadays, there are two methods to model soil nailing in computer program, using plate model and geogrid model. As the results, the actual behavior of soil nailing captured by computer program is utilizing node to node model, so that the behavior of soil nailing modeled as node to node need to be discovered. Analysis of model is done by varying the embedded length and the inclination of soil nailing. From modeling results, it can be shown material behavior of node to node have similarity safety factor value as geogrid model. The greater inclination installation of soil nailing, SF still have constant value. The difference of SF value from two aforementioned methods is 0.02 % - 5.12%.
