SOCIO-ECONOMIC IMPACT OF OIL PALM SMALLHOLDER’S EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM IN BANGKA REGENCY

Abstract

Oil Palm Growers’ Plantation Programis a kind of effort who synergyzing 3 pillars of  development which are private company, society and governmental to reach profitability. Farmer empowerment through KKSR Program was done by simultaneously system based on management partnership,which is a process to change the mindset who signed by the awareness of the plantation member to improve their financials with their potentials.The empowerment through KKSR Program on The Success Farmer’s Group needs the empowerment form to make this group more useful. The purposes of this study are 1) descibing the empowerment form on The Success Farmer’s Group 2) describing the socio-economic impact on The Success Farmer’s Group. The sampling method which used in this research is the study of purposive sampling methods. The methods of this study used quantitative methods with quantitative analysis approach.The result of this study showed that 1) The empowerment form of farmer’s socio-economic such as : knowledge development from the sosialiszation to the candidate of farmers who have the land, the technical founding of oil palm plantation and the system founding of socio-economic management partnership and also the integrated pest control school. 2)Theimpact of socio-economic toThe Success Farmer’s Group is giving positive impact to farmer’s group.
