About the Journal

Journal of Tropical Marine Science (JTMS) is  peer-reviewed open-access journal published by the Department of Marine Science, Universitas Bangka Belitung. The journal provides a scholarly platform for the dissemination of original research articles and review papers in the field of tropical marine and coastal sciences.

Scope: oceanography, marine biology and ecology, marine conservation, fisheries and aquaculture, marine biotechnology, coastal management, marine geology, marine chemistry, marine instrumentation, and other interdisciplinary studies related to tropical marine environments.

JTMS is published biannually in April and October. All articles are freely accessible online without publication charges.
